Precut

PreCut is an AI-powered pre-editor for macOS and Windows that turns raw footage into a clean, captioned first cut in minutes. It automatically detects and cleans up silence, filler words, mistakes, repetitions, false starts, and retakes, while generating accurate, professionally styled captions including Word Highlight, Pop, and Karaoke. Every suggested edit remains reviewable, reversible, and under your control. Built for speed, simplicity, and local-first processing, PreCut removes the tedious first editing pass so creators can spend less time cleaning footage and more time creating. Raw footage → Clean, captioned first cut.
